What is Selectroot?
Selectroot is the new age personal shopping for all your kitchen refills; delivering healthy groceries right to your doorstep across the Lower Mainland regions of North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Squamish and Whistler. We prioritize Convenience of Customers, by picking and delivering groceries from your favourite local grocery store. Selectroot is not a retailer or reseller of groceries.
How do I start using Selectroot?
It's free and easy to sign up with Selectroot and thereafter order organic and healthy products that we offer;
- Log onto www.selectroot.com and set up a free account with us.
- You may choose to order ingredients for a recipe or a curated grocery list from the various categories for your special occasion.
- Or you can also choose your favourite local store and select individual items as per your requirement.
- Add items to your cart.
- Provide us with your name, delivery address details and a contact number to get in touch with you while shopping for your order.
- Select an available delivery window that's convenient for you on the same day or on a later day
- VISA, MasterCard, and American Express are widely accepted by Selectroot.
- Selectroot will deliver as early as within next 2 hours of placing an order; meanwhile you can also track the order on our website.
How are items priced on Selectroot ?
Product prices are same as the retail grocery store prices. Selectroot works with retailer to bring you best quality of food at the same retail pricing. However, the prices of certain items may be different on Selectroot at times, depending on how the items are being measured in the store.
At this time, we don't honor in-store discounts, although we provide Selectroot discount offers on certain items.
In which areas does Selectroot deliver?
At this time, deliveries are available in West Vancouver, Squamish, Whistler and North Vancouver; we can reach you anywhere in these regions. However, we are on a rapid sprawl and will be able to add new delivery areas to our services soon.
How fast can I receive my order?
During the checkout process, you’ll be asked to select your preferred time slot for the delivery which you can choose as per your availability. We, however, require a minimum of 2 hours to deliver any order. So you will be able to see time slots from 2 hours subsequent to your actual time of order and onwards during the check-out process to select from.
How do I re-order any of my past order ?
Convenience of customers is our top priority; therefore we do have options to reorder your previous orders to save time.
Follow these steps to access and re-order
- Go to www.selectroot.com and make sure you are logged in.
- At the top right corner, click on the drop- down list next to your name
- Select Order History (all your previous orders will be listed here)
- Click on your desired order for full view
- Click Re-Order button and all the items of that order will be added to your cart.
- You can now adjust items in your cart before final checkout.
How do you handle item substitutions?
If some item is out of stock at the store, we do our best to substitute it with something similar. While placing order, you can also add a note to specify your requirements for an item, or ask for no substitute on any specific item. Please note that you will be refunded or charged for the difference of the substitute items.
What is the minimum order value ?
The minimum value for an order should be equal to or more than $40 exclusive of eligible tax, any deposits or the delivery fee itself; for us to deliver to your doorstep.
How do I get a confirmation that my order has been received ?
A confirmation email will be automatically sent to the email address that you’ve used to log into Selectroot account. The email will include your detailed address, contact number, selected items and time slot of delivery that you’ve chosen along with the date for the same.
Note that: Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org in case you have not received the confirmation email within 20 minutes of ordering or if any of the details for delivery needs to be corrected.
What are the available payment options at Selectroot?
We at Selectroot accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. You will be asked to enter your credit card details during check-out. As a confirmation of payments, you’ll receive a receipt for your order instantly after the payment has been processed.
How do I reset my password ?
To reset your password, please visit the login page and click the link "Forgot Password"
Enter your email address and we will send you a new password to login. Once logged in you can change your password using the steps below;
1. At the top right you will see expansion icon.
2. Click on the expansion icon and a menu slides open.
3. Click Change Password in the slider menu.
4. Enter the correct Current Password and New Password click Update button
Do I have to be in person to accept the delivery of my order ?
Yes, we recommend your presence for receiving the order. However, in your absence you will be contacted on phone by our delivery person to get in touch with you.
While checkout, you can also provide instructions, to hand it over to the concierge or drop off the order at your order, etc; and delivery person will follow the instructions for your order.
For any reason you want to change the deliver details after placing an order; kindly write to our Customer Service team at email@example.com for switching your delivery to a different address or to reschedule it to another suitable time slot.
What if I want to return an Item?
At this time we dont accept returns, however, we will honor you a full refund for an item, if we made a mistake on an item.

What if I forget my password?
Not to worry; you can reset your password using the email ID you used for sign up. Just click on Forgot Password option below the log in panel and follow the instruction as prompted by the website to set a new password for your account.
How much do you charge for delivery ?
We charge a small delivery fee for our services.
- $9.99 for North Vancouver & West Vancouver deliveries.
- $19.99 for Squamish and Whistler deliveries.
